Vacation in Carlsbad California
It's time to start making vacation plans for Spring! Southern California has so much to offer, but one of my most favorite places is Carlsbad, California. The Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort is a charming beachfront family resort right in Carlsbad Village. They have hotel rooms and vacation condominiums available for rent year round. They also have a great health club on site, with weight machines and exercise equipment so that you can keep up with your regime while on vacation.
Carlsbad Village is a quaint little town near San Diego with colorful shops and restaurants, a delightful village for window shopping or finding a special gift or souvenir from your San Diego vacation. Nearby are some great attractions: one of my favorites is the Flower Fields, where you'll see miles and miles of ranunculus, sweet peas, and roses in the spring. If you love flowers, don't miss the Flower Fields. A favorite for families with young children, LegoLand is just 10 minutes away.

Visit Lancaster County Pennsylvania for the holidays
 Lancaster County Pennsylvania is one of my favorite places to go during the winter holidays - from shopping to eating out in Lancaster's many restaurants, and fun activities for the whole family, there's no place quite like it. Local shops and galleries make gift shopping a breeze, you can always find something for that hard to shop for family member (*cough* mother-in-law). Dutch Winter Wonderland and Hersheypark feature rides, games, and of course, festive lights.

Ski Sun Valley
 Ski Sun Valley this holiday season, and unleash your inner Friedlpfeiffer! What the heck is that, you ask? Well, it was Summer 1939... Sun Valley had been established as the nation's first ski resort and premiere year-round destination and the first chairlifts were being installed on Bald Mountain. Friedl Pfeiffer, skiing legend and the head of Sun Valley's ski school, insisted the lifts go all the way to the top-something that had never been done before anywhere in the world. Seven decades later, this go-higher spirit continues to inspire everyone who comes to the Sun Valley/Ketchum area.
