Spring Training hits a Home Run in Scottsdale
Baseball fans from across the country will soon make their annual pilgrimage to Scottsdale for the 2007 season of Cactus League spring training. Each year, Scottsdale Stadium plays host to the San Francisco Giants' spring training games throughout the month of March, during which perfect weather and an abundance of special spring training deals make it the ideal time to visit Scottsdale. The 2007 Cactus League schedule includes 14 San Francisco Giants home games at Scottsdale Stadium, including games against the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Oakland A's and Seattle Mariners. Last year, the San Francisco Giants extended its contract with the City of Scottsdale for 20 years and will continue training in the city through 2025.
Die-hard baseball fans have the chance to watch the games in style inside the new Charro Lodge at Scottsdale Stadium.
