Summer camping plans in Bloomington

My cousin in Indiana told me about a beautiful place to camp, fish, and play near Bloomington, Indiana. Lake Monroe features boat rentals, bait shops, camping, and 2 resorts, so no matter what kind of trip you're planning, be it enjoying the rugged outdoors or relaxing at a resort, Lake Monroe has something for you. I'm starting to make my summer travel plans, and I'm definitely putting camping at Lake Monroe on the list!

Big Bird coming to the convention?

I find myself preparing for a business trip to Pennsylvania next month, we're heading to BucksCounty for a convention. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read where the convention was to be held, have you ever heard of Sesame Place? Yes, it's a children's theme park built around Sesame Street. I should feel silly about this, but I'm actually looking forward to it. Most often our conventions are held in major hotels, or convention centers. Nothing wrong with that, they're always very nice, but this sounds like it's going to be a really unique venue for a convention. Of course Bucks County is such a historic destination, I'll be visiting as many museums and historic sites as I can pack in. I'm planning to take a couple extra days while I'm there to enjoy the trip as much as possible! I have my extra nights booked at the historic Doylestown Inn, so I think I'm all set! Now I just have to get this presentation together...

If you haven't been to Boulder, well, why not?

I do so love Boulder, Colorado. It's so green, and when the flowers are blooming it's absolutely beautiful. Strolling along Pearl Street Mall I always find something to take home with me, usually more than one something, actually! :) Last time I was there I found myself lost in a bookstore for about 4 hours! When it comes time to eat in Boulder, I'm always at a loss, there are so many places to choose from! My daughter always wants to go to sushi, so we've tried Akiyama and Sushi Zanmai, both of which are fantastic. We also both love our coffee, so we usually spend some time in BookEnd. Most recently we stayed in the Bradley Boulder Inn. we like to stay in a different place every time we go somewhere; next time we're going to try out the Hotel Boulderado. So many places to go, I'm going to need to retire soon just so I can see them all!
